2019 Razorback Road Shiraz
The Razorback Road is our mid-price point wine aimed at the discerning drinker looking for value. Grapes are sourced from our estate Razorback Road vineyard in the southern Adelaide Hills. The winemaking style follows the same philosophy our super-premium
wines with a two-week fermentation time in small open fermenters to provide maximum colour, flavour and gently extracted fine tannins.
Named after the location of the estate vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, this classic Shiraz has been aged in French oak barrels for 14 months which has softened the tannins and imparted a subtle sweet cedar spice character to complement the wines vibrant fruit flavours.
Deep red in colour. Lifted cool climate Shiraz aromas of blackberry, black pepper and spice combine with subtle oak aromas. The palate is rich yet elegant, with the blackberry fruit flavours combining with a subtle sweet oak character and finishing with fine, ripe tannins giving the wine a smooth, persistent finish.
